Powell Crosley Meet, February 11, 2012 – Schedule

This Saturday, February 11, 2012, the Blue Ash Bounders will be compete in the Powel Crosley, Jr. YMCA Gymnastics Meet. The meet will include gymnasts from Levels 4–9.

The Powel Crosley Jr. YMCA is located at 9601 Winton Road. Below is the schedule of events:

SESSION 1: LEVEL 4 (71 gymnasts)
Traditional Format

7:30 am	Gym opens / open stretch / bar sets
7:45 am	Coaches meeting
8:00 am	Timed warm ups (1 hr 12 min allotted)
9:25 am	March in
9:30 am	Competition begins (3 hr 6 min allotted)
12:30 pm	Competition ends

Awards immediately following in The Lodge.

SESSION 2: LEVEL 5-9 and prep-op (67 gymnasts)
Modified Traditional – Continuous Rotation

	Pre-stretch in racquetball courts
12:30 pm	open stretch in Gym / bar sets
12:45 pm	Coaches meeting (hearty snacks available)
1:00 pm	Timed warm ups (20 min allotted)
1:25 pm	March in
1:35 pm	Competition begins (3 hr 36 min allotted)
5:15 pm	Competition ends (may be as early as 5:00 pm due to continuous rotation)

This Saturday, February 4, 2012, the Blue Ash Bounders will be traveling to Piqua, Ohio to compete in the Miami County YMCA Gymnastics Meet. The meet will include gymnasts from Levels 4–9.

The Miami County YMCA is located at 223 W. High St., Piqua, OH 45356. Below is the schedule of events:

Pre-Team Coach and Progressive Gymnastics Instructors Needed!

The Blue Ash YMCA is seeking qualified individuals to work with our progressive gymnastic and pre-competitive programs. We seek to teach respect, integrity, persistence and self-esteem in a fun learning environment thru teaching gymnastic skills. You may respond via the form in the “contact us” section to request more information. Any position working 5 or more hours per week receives a single membership as a benefit.

Pre-Team Coach – 5:15 pm. – 7:15 p.m. Tuesday and Friday

We are looking for an enthusiastic coach with minimum level 4 coaching experience or a former gymnast to coach our pre-competitive group of nine fun girls on all four apparatus.

Progressive Gymnastics Instructors

We are seeking a level 1 and level 2 instructors to teach our kids ages 5 and up the basics of gymnastics. Classes run Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Work as little as one class/week up to 4 classes/week.
